Julie Biechlin, LCSW

About Julie Biechlin, LCSW

Grief by itself is the normal/natural emotional response to loss. Grief brings up other issues that will be explored to help in the healing process. The symptoms of grief can be confusing and scary, and friends and family don't always understand what you are going through. My role will be to join with you to witness your process, normalize and validate your experience and collaborate to create your new identity and hope for the future. Through my personal and professional experience, I will collaboratively guide you

with clarity and compassion

Dr. Faith Harper says it well, "Healing is a holistic, transformative process of repair and recovery in mind, body and spirit resulting in positive change, finding meaning and movement towards self-realization of wholeness.” Grief is a whole-body experience and an expression of your love for what is lost. Your brain needs to understand that life is different now, which is the work we will do together to repair and recover and move towards a life where you carry grief and joy, living your best life.
