Welcome. I’m so glad to have you visit my page. You may be considering therapy with a specific goal. I honor that. My practice involves partnership and collaboration. I believe the client is the expert and my job is to journey alongside in the process. On my end, I have the training and experience to provide you with tools, strategies and healing perspectives. I don’t believe in the "one size fits all” approach, and utilize different modalities when working with clients.
Grief can look different in different individuals. It can manifest in anger, sadness, loneliness or self-destructive behavior. I’ve learned there is hope. People want to be seen - no matter who or where we are on our journey.
In 2013 my own grief journey began when both my parents were diagnosed with terminal illnesses. I was promptly catapulted into the role of full time caregiver. In the end, I became a member of a club I hadn’t anticipated—the orphan club. My grief journey has informed my clinical practice. I’ve been in the shoes of the helper and helpee. I “get it” on both sides. What I know for sure is that there can be great transformation during the grief journey.
